Dcn Oye's Project Files

File Delivery Guidelines

Welcome! I am delighted working with you on this project. These guidelines outline my standard expectations for collaborators, ensuring every project runs smoothly and meets professional standards. Please review them before starting the project.1. File Naming Conventions
• Use consistent, clear file names for easy identification:
(Examples: LeadVocal01V1, Guitar02V2)
2. File Format
• Record all files in AIFF/WAV format at 24-bit, 48kHz (except stated otherwise).
3. Track Requirements
• Number of Takes: kindly record at least 6 individual takes for each harmony part except otherwise stated by the project producer.
Additional room mics for BGVs will be appreciated.
• Dry Tracks: Recordings should be delivered without effects or processing unless specifically requested.
• Clean Edits: Ensure no clipping, noise, or unnecessary audio between takes.
• Stereo Tracks: Record stereo instruments as stereo interleaved files for better compatibility. If interleaving is unavailable, provide as separate mono files (e.g., [Instrument]L.aif and [Instrument]R.aif).
4. Timing & Synchronisation
• Files should align with the project’s reference track/tempo or click track.
• Confirm synchronisation before submission to avoid delays.
5. File Delivery Process
• Upload files to the designated cloud folder via the link the project was sent.
6. Confidentiality
• All files are treated with strict confidentiality.
